Geographer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Gabriela Suárez has a Master’s in Internationalization of Local Development from the University of Bologna, Italy. She has more than 20 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing programs, projects, and public policies in various sectors.
Gabriela has worked in public management, stablishing relations with multilateral organizations, international cooperation, civil society organizations, and the private sector, promoting intersectoral and interinstitutional coordination and multi-level articulation processes for the implementation of policies.
Since September 2023, Gabriela has been working as the executive director of FARO, an Ecuadorian Think and Do Tank that works across Sustainable Development, Education, Democracy and Research and Evaluation.
